The Lamb Inn is a 16th century former coaching inn situated in the picturesque Devon village of Sandford close to the market town of Crediton and just ten miles from the Cathedral town of Exeter. The Lamb Inn is the perfect example of a quintessential English country pub. The Lamb Inn bar has an open fire, comfy sofas and a restaurant that serves freshly cooked, locally sourced, award-winning food prepared by talented chefs on the chargrill. The vegetarian and vegan dishes are plentiful and varied. Outside there is a sheltered cobbled courtyard with tables and sun umbrellas making it a very popular place to enjoy a meal and choose a cool drink form our extensive range of local ales and lagers, also a varied selection of wines and spirits. There is a separate covered sundeck overlooking the courtyard and a further grassed area, ideal for children, at the top of the garden. As well as the Lamb Inn bar there is the smaller Tap Room and a large function hall, The Dowrich Room.
During opening times we have everything from the best espresso coffee, real ales and quality wines to individually styled accommodation. Whether you want a meeting, a hotel room, a garden or a pub with real atmosphere we are the place to be.
